For lever or pedal harp,
mostly level 2,
most pieces are two pages.

There are some very “harpy” but easy pieces in this book. Eight pieces, titled for insects that flutter, spin or leap.

Little Moth Introduces harmonics in the easy, sweet little piece.
Range: D3 - B4
Level: 1, C Major, harmonics

Moon Spinner Spins the hands together, and also give the LH a simple accompaniment pattern.
Range: C2 - F4
Level: 2, a minor, parallel

Grasshopper’s Jig Leaps! Students enjoy this frolicking piece.
Range: A2 - C6
Level: 2, C Major

Monarch Wings is another student favorite. A study in chords transitions to arpeggios on the same chords.
Range: F1 - D6
Level: 2, F# required

Bumble’s Boogie uses pedal/lever slides, and I encourage a little buzzing. It is about a bumble bee after all!
Range: A2 - C6
Level: 2B, D#, E#, G#, F#, pedal / lever slides

Golden Swallowtail Flits about with a descending LH arpeggio accompaniment pattern.
Range: C2 - C5
Level: 2, C Major

Busy Bees Fast! LH gets to play the melody. RH has two note chords on the off beats.
Range: G2 - C5
Level: 2, C Major

Green Dragonfly is the most difficult, but makes a splashy recital piece. Presented in two different keys.
Range: B1 - F5 (in the two sharps version)
Level: 3, pedal change / lever pre-set
